# Deployment failed (Failed to create pod sandbox)

When I was going to deploy a new app version, the deployment failed. Thinking that there was an error in my app, I tried to deploy a sample webserver but it was also not deployment failed.

`Successfully assigned okteto/installer-8cfad6fc-7cca-4cf0-ac20-5f04d5c27d62-jhhzm to gke-cloud-dev-3-dd32437d-rnsn` `Failed to create pod sandbox: rpc error: code = DeadlineExceeded desc = context deadline exceeded` `Failed to create pod sandbox: rpc error: code = Unknown`

What is your namespace and service you were trying to deploy? Also, were you deploying through the Okteto UI or with the Okteto CLI (`okteto deploy` command)

Thank you for reaching me out. I checked next day and deploy new version again then it successfully deployed.

No worries! I suspected that was the case. Sometimes there is some momentary node activity that prevents pods from beings scheduled correctly. Thanks for clarifying!
